www.catchacat.org Belles Ferry provides water transportation from the Savannah Historic District to Hutchinson Island. The fare to ride the ferry is $3 round trip. The time of departure is every 10 - 15 minutes, with a 2-minute crossing of the river. The ferry departs from the City Hall dock to the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort. Each ferry seats approximately 49 passengers. Services operates daily from 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. Highways I-95 is the major north/south interstate from New England to Miami and is just 10 miles from Savannah's Historic District. I-16 is the major east/west interstate.
